Day 5:
We woke up early, got all of our things together, and headed to the lobby so we could catch our ride to the airport. The time we had in Mexico went by too fast, but we were ready to go back to Seattle and see Logan. Our flight had a layover in LAX again and we arrived back in Seattle that night. We stayed at Holly and Creed's that night!
I stole these next pictures from my sister. They're precious! Ella needs a little sibling ;)
Holly and Creed, we can't thank you enough for watching Logan for us! I've told you so much already, but we are SO thankful! Love you guys!!!
Day 6:
We headed up to Lake Stevens for the day to spend the day with Craig (Steve's brother) and Cerissa (Craig's wife) and their little girl Addison (Logan and her are 3 days apart). Cerissa and I had been planning this day for a while and it was so nice to actually have it work out and spend the day with them.
We started out by letting the kids play around the house and then and got pizza at Alfy's in Snohomish.
Logan loves Cerissa's mom's dog and could not keep his eyes off of her!
Addie and Uncle Steve
So
Addie has this little chair she sits in and if you turn it upside down
it looks like she's water skiing.....so we put Addie and Logan on it and
they had a blast!!!
Uncle Steve!
We then had the boys (Steve and Craig) pick up some bikes from their parent's place and we took the babies for a bike ride on the bike trail. Cerissa had a friend that was nice enough to let us borrow their bike trailer so we could all go! Addie and Logan could only handle too much so we took a pit stop at the park and then turned around and went back to a different park where we had left our cars.
I didn't have my phone with me, but Cerissa got this cute picture of the babies!
After the bike ride we stopped at the store and got some things for dinner. Then we headed to the Boyd's to go and play games with Christy, Nick, Clayton, and Bryson (Lonnie and Brenda were out of town). We had fun playing Telestrations and stayed the night.
Day 7:
We started the morning by going over to Diana and Mark's (Steve's mom and step-dads) place in Woodinville. They treated us to breakfast at their place and Logan kept us entertained while we were eating. It is always so nice to go over to their place whenever we visit so we can catch up! They always spoil us, oh how I wish we lived closer to family!
This is the best picture I got with Steve and his mom looking (sorry Diana)!
After visiting with Diana and Mark we drove down to Tacoma to meet up with my sister again. We planned on getting my siblings together and spending a couple of hours together. We all met up at Steel Lake Park in Federal Way. The playground was HUGE and it would be fun to go back to once Logan is bigger and can climb around on playground equipment easier.
The
relatives house that Holly and Creed are living at has canoes so they
took them with us to the lake and we got to take them out! It was a lot
of fun!
My cute niece Ella!
My sister-in-law Traci and my two nephews Andrew and Jared.
Logan and I
My nephews playing around at Holly and Creeds place
We
tried to get a quick picture of Melissa and Logan together, but Logan
was too quick for us. They are a little less than 2 months apart.
I swear we can't get a normal picture of us siblings together....thanks Shawn.
It was a fun night with my siblings and their families.....Ryan was supposed to come up as well, but he was hiking all day and was a little worn out. Steve and I stayed at Shawn and Traci's place in Olympia that night (Thanks Shawn and Traci).
Day 7:
Shawn and Traci made us a really good breakfast Sunday morning with coconut syrup (YUM) and then we headed out, back to Oregon. We stopped at Ryan and Paige's on the way in Maple Valley before they left for church.
We
had such a GREAT trip going to Mexico and seeing family! Definitely a
trip to remember for years! I'm hoping we will be able to do at least 1
big trip every year!
Love all of the pics! Lots of fun seeing you and glad you got to see the masses too!
