Christmas 2015

Since I received my job offer and my start date was December 15th we made the decision to just stay in Ontario for the year. We had been planning on staying because we have always been away from home for Christmas and this year we actually wanted to stay home and enjoy it with Logan. I had work the week of Christmas except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Steve had those same days off as well.

We did a few things leading up to Christmas which included: seeing Christmas lights, decorating the tree/house, going to our ward Christmas party, going to see Santa (a few times), and picking out Christmas presents.

Logan received a lot of presents from his grandparents, Santa, parents. Some of his presents he got included: train table, Ninja Turtle stuffed animal, play food, blocks, hot wheel cars, balls, clothes, books, and a lot more. This boy is spoiled and has an endless amount of toys to play with. 

I had been looking for a nightstand for our room for a few months and never really found one I liked, within our budget. Steve offered to make one for me and didn't show me what it looked like until the morning of Christmas. I LOVE IT!! Some of my other presents included clothes, gift cards, jewelry, and money.

Steve got a gun, gun case, ammo, ammo case, gopro chest mount, lift tickets, a head lamp, pocket knife, and some clothes as part of his Christmas present. I need to take some pictures!

Christmas Eve we just hung out at our place and did appetizers and clam chowder for dinner and read the Night Before Christmas.

Christmas we opened presents and had some time to play and then went sledding with our friends. It was a great relaxing day!
