Skiing, Tubing, Green Canyon and Big Juds

I'm kinda slacking at this blogging thing so here is what we did last weekend :) 

Friday night we got some free lift tickets and gear from our friends Kenny and Natasia to go up skiing. They teach lessons at Kelly Canyon and hooked us up. Let me just say it so much fun :) I've only been skiing once before and it went pretty well but this time going again was so much more fun because I already had a little experience. Here are some pictures of our night :)

Funny story: I've been telling Steve I can ski and he's never believed me because he's never really seen me ski. I've been wanting to prove it to him for quite sometime and I finally got to on Friday! We get to the top of the run and the ski lift drops us off. I start going down the hill not having any trouble and he's all like "what, where's she going?" as he's way behind me and surprised that I was actually skiing really good and not having trouble. Let me just say I left him in the dust until he caught up ;) 

After skiing for a couple of hours and it was time to close we went to Kenny's house to watch Pitch Perfect in which I fell asleep right away!! My calves really had it from skiing and I was worn out. 

Saturday: We went tubing at Grand Targhee Ski Resort, went to Green Canyon Hot Springs, and went to Big Jud's for dinner :) We went with Joshua Whitton (Steve's mission buddy) and his girlfriend! Here are some pics....

We saw this cute little fox when we were leaving the resort. Not the best quality but it was so cool!!

We didn't get any pics at Green Canyon, but here is a picture from Big Juds! 

Josh doing the 1 lb. challenge! He did eat the whole burger! His stomach was about to explode but he did it!

Well that was our weekend last week! So much fun and I can't wait to go skiing again!

Friday: Work 7:45-11am then weekend!!! We're going to Island Park where some cabins have been rented and we're going snowmobiling :) Can't wait and post to come when we're back!
