2 weekends ago Steve and I went to Boise to celebrate my great-aunt's 90th birthday. My mom flew into SLC and we stayed at my sister-in-laws place in Idaho Falls Friday night. Here are some pictures of my cute nephew Bentley :) I didn't get any pictures of Axel...maybe because he was to antsy :(
Steve and I then left early Saturday morning to go over to Boise. We left at 6:30am so we could make it to Boise at 11:00 which was the time my aunt and grandma would be flying in. After a long drive we arrived at the airport. We wanted to surprise them when they came through the gates so we waited and waited. There flight was supposed to arrive at 11:08 so we waited until 11:23 and they still weren't there. I decided I'd give my aunt a call to ask her if they have arrived yet and sure enough we barely missed them when we came up and they were already down by the baggage claim. Good thing I broke the surprise otherwise we would have missed them.
Haha he looks like Toad from Mario Cart
What a cutie :)
We all went to lunch at Cracker Barrel including my sister and her husband and daughter (Holly, Creed, and Ella who live in Boise). Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurants and since we don't have one near Rexburg it was a good choice. After lunch we stopped over at my great-aunt's nursing home to visit. She has macular degeneration (partially blind). I really thought she couldn't see anything at all but she said she can mostly see shadows and such. It was really fun to talk to her and she is really funny! After we visited with her Steve and I went over to Eagle to see Westin and Corbin (Steve's step brothers). We figured Corbin would be working and sure enough he was. We stopped at Wendy's to see him and he followed us over to see Westin. Westin just got back from his mission on the 14th of this month and he served in the 4 corners mission. Here's a picture of Steve and the bros :)

After church we went over to Great Aunt Cecelia's sons house for her 90th birthday party. We had pretty much a Christmas dinner with ham, jello salads, olives, cake, and sweet breads. It was soo good! We stayed a while and chatted and of course I played with Ella a lot!! Here are some pictures from the party :)

Steve and I came back to Holly and Creeds place and they made a wonderful soup!!! I was soo good and I will tell you I had seconds maybe even thirds. Creed served his mission in Italy and he just knows what to add to each meal to make it soo good! Holly's a good cook too but Creed can just add an Italian touch to the meal. After dinner we played some games and went to bed.
Sunday: We went to the Boise Temple Dedication at a nearby stake center. We went to the earliest session at 9 and it was so good. I've never watched a temple dedication and it was so cool. It was nice to hear the prophet's voice and for him to give us guidance. One of the words of advice he gave us was to re-dedicate ourselves as the temple was being re-dedicated.
Here is my cute niece Ella! I have a ipod touch and everytime I would put the camera on her she would get so happy and have the biggest smile! She just turned a year old a month or so ago!
